After some rumors circulated in the well-known CG forums on IndigoTinted For XSI on pricing and beta phasing, here are some further details.
The product is an integration of the commercial Indigo SDK, hence it won't be free of charge. The final product cost isn't yet defined but won't be higher then other ready-available commercial products. The private beta will run on a selected user base and quite probably will be free of charge for the customers involved.
Best regards, Riccardo.

IndigoTinted For XSI unveiled
These are the first screenshots belonging to IndigoTinted for XSI (formerly known as XSIndigoRenderer) the next-to-come first totally integrated unbiased rendering solution for SOFTIMAGE|XSI.
It integrates the well-proved rendering technology implemented in Indigo Renderer developed by Nicholas Chapman (Glare Technologies Limited) involving advanced features as Metropolis Light Transport, Spectral light calculus, virtual camera model, MPD, Layer blending, and many others.
In addition IndigoTinted For XSI gives the user the freedom to render anything inside XSI benefiting from the common XSI rendering tools (render region, shaderballs) without facing non standard workflows.
IndigoTinted For XSI also numbers among its features node-based shading tree, sub-s native support, sun positioning through lat/long/time coords, rendering resume, hierarchical instancing and many more.
IndigoTinted For XSI will enter, in the short period, the private beta phase, where a restricted number of potential customer will be selected to test all the today-implemented features in their productive environments. Next steps toward final release will be defined further after the results obtained by the private beta.
IndigoTinted For XSI will be distributed and supported through Pure Computer Graphics Europe the well-known SOFTIMAGE official Advanced Solution Provider.
Best regards, Riccardo.
